Medical translation
Because of the difficulty and need for accuracy required, medical translations are considered among the hardest to do. The common prerequisites for becoming a medical translator are a combination of a high vocabulary in Latin languages (since medical terminology is largely Latin) and high verbal capacity (to modify words according to target language conventions) or a background in medicine such as a nurse or an MD.
Some examples of the medical translations we provide: Wellness, life science, clinical studies, hospital discharge summaries, product specifications, prescriptions, medical charts, insurance claims, pharmaceuticals, dentistry, patient information and history records, instruction manuals and patent applications.
Please contact us for medical translation offers in these combinations:
English to Norwegian
Norwegian to English
German to Norwegian
Norwegian to German
All Nordic languages
Any language combination
As there is no medical part of the Norwegian sworn translator's exam, for quality concerns, we recommend our solution consisting of a team of an MD or another health professional with a proofreader.
